Washakie County School District #1

Our World Famous STEM Night is returning to West Side on Tuesday, December 9th, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Why is it world famous? Because we have cool science experiments and activities for our West Side families. We are also running this event with Washakie County Prevention Coalition, so we will have some great information on brain science. Of course, there will be some great prizes for answering some science trivia, so we hope to see you all there Tuesday night!!!

Here is the December newsletter!
We celebrated our 67th day of learning today at all three elementary schools. That's right: it was day SIX - SEVEN! At West Side, the kids really got into dressing up, creating posters, and even doing difficult math problems with the theme of six-seven. As a staff, we chose to embrace the 6-7 mania rather than shut it down. Personally, I thought it was a pretty good day.
